A. The term legal technical writing covers the drafting and production of various documents, including:
- compliance documentation, policies, and other internal materials
- letters, precedent documents, and memos
- briefs and opinions.
What often goes unrecognised is that good legal technical writing is creative. Communicating legal details in a clear, concise, accurate, and easily understood manner can be intuitive for some, but for many it takes time, patience, and a good deal of effort.
